SUNY College at Purchase Performing Arts Center II & Neuberger Museum Re-roofing - in construction

This project includes removal of the original BUR and abatement of asbestos-containing materials on two buildings. The new Class A roof system is a fully adhered EPDM membrane on polyisocyanurate insulation. It meets Factory Mutual 1-90 wind resistance criteria. Masonry faces of three theaters were restored. Work was carefully phased and methods developed to protect irreplaceable Neuberger Museum artworks.

349 East 49th Street, NYC - Re-roofing/Masonry Restoration - completed

This project included removal of the original BUR and abatement of asbestos materials.  We installed a new Class A hot-mopped modified bitumen system on energy-saving rigid insulation. Parapets were repointed, cast stone trim was restored or replaced, gutters and flashings were repaired, the attic was insulated and ventilated. Deteriorated window lintels were replaced. Our value-engineering helped the client save more than 8% on construction costs.
